Jacquie walked through the doors of Gigueres in 1981, when her oldest daughter joined the competitive team. Four daughters followed and Jacquie's role evolved from team parent to part-time teacher and office staffer to Team Parent treasurer and eventually full time Office Manager. The landscape has changed at Gigueres since 1981, but the philosophy has stayed the same. Jacquie delights in seeing the smiles and excitement on the faces of the students coming in each day looking to build their "Champion" within. These days those smiles can be found on the faces of three of her granddaughters who are now the second generation involved in the competitive programs at Gigueres.
